The space encourages collaboration between students in areas, while maintaining quiet study spaces throughout the library. Spaces throughout the library are designated specifically for laptop study and small group meetings. A centralized computer lab is located in the library (consisting of 225 computers). Phases one and two of the Michigan Tech IT Services and Library Services spaces were completed in November, 2013.
