Komatsu - Headquarters

Komatsu completed construction of a brand new headquarters building, bringing together their corporate offices and their manufacturing operations.

After acquiring another company and having plans for future growth, the new space was designed to embrace their newly defined culture.

In addition to lower panel heights on the workstations, the floor plate includes a variety of collaborative areas, allowing employees to work where they want and how they want. Divided by acoustic panels and freestanding architectural barriers, privacy can be achieved in these collaborative settings. Different levels of private offices follow similar design aesthetics while featuring a variety of layouts based on job role.

For 36 years, BSI and Komatsu have been partners in creating impactful and productive interiors. With the support from EUA on the headquarters building, everyone came together to create an inspiring space, included elements that speak to the history of Komatsu Mining Corporation.
