To support the health and well-being of its first responders, the West Allis Fire Department partnered with us to transform their existing dormitory space into modern, private sleep rooms. The goal was to reduce sleep disruption, improve recovery, and create a more restful environment for firefighters during their shifts.

DIRTT modular wall panels can be removed for easy upgrades—no mess, no major demo.

Design was able to maintain the original fire-separated dorm perimeter,

Each room includes a door, individual lighting control, and a personal alarm panel.

Biophilic wall art and enhanced HVAC air exchanges help reduce stress and support better sleep.
