about bsihistory

Leaders in our Industry

Since 1947, BSI has been an innovator in corporate interiors. BSI began as a pioneer in the acoustical ceilings industry, installing some of the first suspended ceilings in the Milwaukee area. When a method to deliver HVAC from the ceiling plenum was needed, BSI designed, patented and installed the first AIR BAR (pictured) at The Parker Pen Company. Similar systems are still in use today.

Over time, BSI researched and added new products to its offering, and created our passion to create workplaces that integrate design, craftsmanship, furniture and technology.
